Subject: LCARS UI
I'm creating a LCARS UI Libary, In Visual Basic .NET, it will require .NET Version 2 to operate.

This Libary will provide programers with the ablity to create a Library Computer Access and Retrieval System (LCARS) based application as easily as they would create a windows based program, By providing all the common controls, as well as bases for creating your own controls and forms, using a LCARS UI. This UI, will beable to create a form using LCARS style window, and control box based on the formating ans styles used in windows VISTA, but using a LCARS theme, i.e. LCARS style buttons.
The form and panel borders will be highly configurable, such as border size, and curve size. The buttons also have Star Trek Sound effects,a s well as when typing text in to a text field.

However their is one draw back t this interface, as it highly graphical your programs will be fairly large compare to a strigh windows program as it store the intinal graphics as images in the program.

If you have any idea or suggestion please post them here.

Sounds awesome. I assume you've looked over the crazy load of examples sprawled across the net?

Would you be able to integrate your own graphics into that program should I want to my my own style of installer?
Or can there be a folder for custom graphics?

All in all, I think it's very interesting. :D

First This is not an installer its a Intrerface Libary
it simply provides objects based on windows objects usings LCARS style graphics, rathenr than windows style, such that you can make a windows program that looks like a LCARS program.

Hi!

I liked very much of your library.
Do you want to continue it? I can use some sparetime to help with.
I'm a C# programmer.

See ya!
